Viterra Named Official Youth Development Partner of CURLSASK

[REGINA, Sask] – CURLSASK, the provincial sport organization for curling in Saskatchewan, announced a new partnership today with Viterra for the upcoming curling season.

“We are thrilled to announce Viterra as the Official Youth Development Partner of Curling in Saskatchewan,” said Ashley Howard, Executive Director, CURLSASK. “As we look to return to sport, the new partnership will play a pivotal role in providing the opportunity for more youth to access, learn, and enjoy Saskatchewan’s official provincial sport.”

Viterra will officially be the title sponsor of the three following CURLSASK Youth Programs; Youth Clinics, Blizzard Program, and Prairieland Curling Camp Series. Through each of the three programs it is anticipated over 1000 Saskatchewan youth will learn the fundamentals of curling and improve their curling skills.

Since 2015, Viterra has been the title sponsor of the Viterra youth clinics, and previously the FUNCurl youth development program, which has been succeeded with the innovative new Blizzard Program.

Viterra has also been the title sponsor of the Saskatchewan Provincial Women’s Championship since 2014.

“We’re pleased to be building on our longstanding relationship with CURLSASK by expanding our support for its youth programs,” said Kyle Jeworski, CEO for Viterra North America. “This support will enable youth across the province to access quality programs aimed at growing the sport of curling, while helping them to develop leadership, teamwork, and communication skills that will serve them well in the future.”
