CURLSASK High Performance Program
2026-2027 High Performance Program Updates
The CURLSASK High Performance Program will continue to support both teams and individuals 25 years of age and younger (combined age totals for four-person and mixed doubles teams). Upon acceptance, participants will be expected to submit a detailed season plan, including training and competition schedules, along with a clear outline for how they intend to utilize their Saskatchewan Medical Sport Science Centre sport science sessions. New for this season, teams can also expect a more structured performance environment, including mandatory fitness testing, technical accountability check-ins, and ongoing communication with the Director of High Performance throughout the year.
Following a highly successful launch last season, the CURLSASK High Performance Training Centre model will continue in 2026–2027, with Early Ice hosted in Martensville and the Regional Performance Centre based in Moose Jaw. This centralized training approach provides athletes, coaches, and consultants with consistent access to high-quality ice, integrated support services, and aligned performance tracking. Building on last year’s success, the Training Centre will remain a key component of the program, creating a collaborative and high-performance environment that supports athlete development in line with Curling Canada standards and direction.
