Junior Men's & Women's Provincial Championships Begins Tomorrow

The province’s best Junior Men’s & Women’s curling teams will have their eyes set on that green jacketthis upcoming week at theprovincial championships hosted at the Melfort Curling Club. The men’s and women’s champions will be declared on Sunday through a round robin format followed by the traditional page playoff system, leading up to that gold medal game. Both teams will then go on to represent Saskatchewan at the 2017 Canadian Junior Curling Championships which will beheld later this month in Victoria, BC.

On the men’s side,a number of familiar faces will be back once again at the provincial level, including two time provincial finalist (2015, 2016) in Rylan Kleiter who will lead the strong field. Kicking things off for the men will be the teams out of Pool B beginning on Jan.4 @ 3:30 p.m.

The women’s side also presents a strong field which will acquire many returning teams, first games in Pool A will get things started in Draw #1 which will begin Jan.4 @ 3:30 p.m.
