CURLSASK is the provincial governing body of Curling in Saskatchewan. Our mission is to promote and develop the future of curling in Saskatchewan by providing leadership, services and programs for the curling community. Annually, we host 15 provincial championships around the province.

CURLSASK is currently seeking an Event Coordinator. Your primary responsibility will be coordinating and executing our championship events.

Job Title: Event Coordinator

Job Type: Temporary Contract / Term January & February

Reports to: Event Manager

Job Purpose: To coordinate first class curling championships.

Job Skills: The Event Coordinator should be one with an understanding and appreciation of the sport of curling. A combination of curling knowledge together with other business- related education and event management experience.

General Description:

The Event Coordinator will be responsible for planning and coordinating all aspects of CURLSASK provincial championships. You will be required to act as a liaison between CURLSASK, host committees and various volunteer groups. The role requires strong organizational skills and an ability to communicate with a wide spectrum of shareholders.

Specific areas of responsibility include:

1. Event Execution: The Event Coordinator will attend championships as assigned to provide on-site logistical and technical support. You will take pride in ensuring that sponsor and partner activation plans for events are executed according to the terms of event agreements. You will oversee and support the volunteer liaison role and when not assigned to attend an event.
