Saskatchewan Curling Community Mourns the Passing of Dexter Lagimodiere
CURLSASK is saddened by the news of the loss of former past president of the Saskatchewan Ladies Curling Association, Dexter Lagimodiere.
Dexter served as President of the SLCA in 1982-83 and was employed as Technical Director for the Association from 1985 to 1993. Dexter was inducted as a builder into the SCA Legends of Curling in 2013 and as an Honourary Life Member of the SLCA in 2017.
We are so thankful for the time Dexter spent giving back to our sport. Dexter was key in establishing the Praireland Curling Camp and volunteered her time since the camp began in 1986 until 2013.
Dexter also volunteered at many National events and once lead the 1984 Saskatchewan Junior Women’s team as coach at the Canadian Junior Championships.
Our sincere condolences go out to Dexter’s family and friends.
