How It Started

Following the 2019 Curling Canada Business of Curling Symposium in Canmore this past June. CURLSASK Staff & Board Members in attendance gathered and expressed a need in local curling clubs to fill their membership with the 25-40 age categories!

CURLSASK then partnered with Learn to Curl Program Consultant Anna Keller, contracted by Curling Canada, to run a “Train The Trainer” Session up at the Saskatoon Sutherland Curling Club this September, where we saw 32 eager curling enthusiasts who took in our course!

They will now head back to their own curling clubs and launch their own adult learn to curl program with material learned.

CURLSASK has now partnered with Goldline & Original 16 to bring these unique programs to five curling clubs here in Saskatchewan! We will pilot these five programs as a conclusion to this new initiative, where we will then look to host Anna again in the New Year, and bring on five more clubs to give it a try during the 2020-2021 curling season!
