The Junior Slam Series is an event management company that specializes in delivering premium Junior Curling events focussed on their core values of Competition, Education and Development. Established in 2016, the series has expanded from its base in Ontario now offering U15, U18, U21, U25 and Mixed Doubles events from the maritimes to the prairies.

The Junior Slam Series is excited to announce its U21 Mixed Doubles series for the 2022-2023 season.  For the past several years Mixed Doubles has been growing in overall participation and for next season we are expanding our Mixed Doubles experience westward to Saskatchewan.

Annually they send 2 qualifying MD teams to attend a world U21MD event in Stockholm Sweden hosted by their partners, the Nordic Junior Curling Tour (NJCT). This year Team Canada 1 qualify from Ontario and Team Canada 2 qualify from Saskatchewan. Last season teams from New Brunswick and Ontario competed at the NJCT event in Stockholm.

THE WINNER OF THIS EVENT WILL GO ON TO REPRESENT CANADA AT A NJCT EVENT IN STOCKHOLM SWEDEN! 

AGE ELIGIBILITY

2022-23 Season: Born on or after July 1, 2002. One overage player is allowed – born between July 1, 2001 – June 30, 2002.

2023-24 Season:  No Overage – All players born on or after July 1, 2003.
