What are you looking for in a team? Competitive Men’s

Years Curled & Accomplishments Along the Way: I have been curling for 15 years at various levels of competition. I’ve curled in Juvenile, High School, and Junior provincials in my junior years, winning a High School provincial championship and runners up in Juvenile Provincials. I have experience curling in the SaskCurl tour events for a couple years.

Bio of Myself: I am looking to return to curling in the SCT. I am most comfortable playing front end but I have played a little of everything over the years. I’m quite used to reading rocks and ice. I am willing to travel for events, and would prefer to curl out of Moose Jaw or Regina.

Years Curled & Accomplishments Along the Way: I have curled for about 27 years now, and have been around curling since I was 3 days old. Curling is in my family blood. I have done some competitive curling in Alberta when in high school. But since moving to Saskatchewan I have not known the people enough to have a stay together team. I have won a few bonspiels over the years, but living arrangements have prevented me from ever making it to the big stage.

Bio of Myself: I am physically fit to play all positions and have a good mind for the strategy side of the game. I have not stopped playing since I was 5 and even started playing in men’s leagues when I was 11. I was the player coach of our high school teams. And have been trying to help teach others how to enjoy the game and possibly build their own skills so they may have the confidence to join a league.

Bio of Myself: I started curling in high school and curled the next four years before relocating to Saskatoon. I have curled in various men’s leagues in Saskatoon and as a spare.

Other Comments: Looking to get on a competitive men’s team and am willing to travel on short notice.

Bio of Myself: I have curled since 1994 and have taken part in 2 curling clinics, and have been curling 3-4 times a week to pick up my game. I am a club champion at the Regina Highland along with an A-side championship win with Al Delmage in the Federation League at the Regina Callie Curling Club. I retired from Cprail in 2013 and am now curling 3 times a week as a skip during the day seniors league. I finised this last year 2016-2017 in 2nd place in the draw to the pin in Regina Men’s Masters Competition, and finished out the 2017 seasons as the championship skip in the day seniors league.

Other Comments: Still going to curl 3 times a week during the day and skip in practice. I would like to curl Thursday night at the Regina Highland and enter into playdowns for mens. I would also like to join a senior team to enter senior playdowns this year. Please call, email or text.

Years Curled & Accomplishments Along the Way: Started curling when I was 10 in Dugald MB, gained valuable experience from playing in their junior league winning the aggregate twice and attending multiple curling camps in Morden, MB. Curled in a mixed spiel at the camp with Kaitlyn Lawes. Won U13 MB Provincials with the Joyal rink (played third), won a Bronze medal in the Manitoba Games in 2005/06 with Joyal rink then competed for the Canada Games Trials.

Afterwards created my own team and skipped out of the Pembina Curling Club in Winnipeg with many other great curlers (Neufeld, Lawes, Coleman), competed in bonspiels (cash and provincial berths). Focused on school and fitness after 2010 and recently skipped the Whitewood, SK’s Skins League.

Bio of Myself: I love the sport of curling & enjoy having fun while curling all the while staying competitive, focused and serious about my shots. Playing all the positions I have a very good understanding of the game, strategy and systems as well as knowing roles of the players. I have the ability to judge the speed/curl of the rock very well and take pride in being an excellent sweeper. I can throw the big weight when needed but have really taken to controlling the quiet weight. I’m a P.E. teacher in Broadview, I enjoy hunting/fishing, outdoors, and being physically active. I would say I’m easy to get along with as I have many interests and hobbies.

Other Comments: Willing to commute for spiels and games on the weekend and possibly during the week depending on location.

Years Curled & Accomplishments Along the Way: I have curled since grade 6, competing in high school jr. & sr. playdowns making it to provincials in Grade 11 and 12 (2007 & 2008 in both Boys and Mixed respectively). Also competed in CURLSASK Juvenile Playdowns making it to provincials in 2007 & 2008, losing the C-final with a mixed team at the 2008 playdowns.

I have curled on the SCT for a couple years, and played in the Saskatoon WCT event once. Took 2 years off due to work (making curling ice full time in Estevan), and in 2017 won the Traveler’s Provincial Championship. Was throwing third and sweeping all other rocks in that competition. Also won the Thursday Open league in 2016/2017 and a close second place finish in the Tuesday Competitive League.

Bio of Myself: Born in Saskatoon July 1990. Grew up in Dalmeny, and started volunteering at the local curling rink making ice at age 15. Volunteered at a few major events (2010 World Women’s & 2012 Brier) on the ice crew, and also helped at the 2014 Sochi Olympics. Plan on expanding the ice making career, hoping someday doing the ice for the Tankard/Scotties and eventually national events.

Other Comments: Limited availability to enter tour events due to maintaining curling ice, but local events would be easy and some travel with enough notice to arrange people to fill in. Practice ice will be easy to get.
