Steve Turner – Event Manager
The CURLSASK Board of Directors & Staff are excited to welcome Steve Turner of Saskatoon as the new Event Manager!
Steve’s role will be to work together with host committees and execute all of our championships. His expertise and knowledge as a curling club manager for 8 years, hosting and chairing many regional, qualifiers and provincial events, along with hosting the most recent Curling Canada’s World Junior Qualifier this past November will be an asset.
“Having hosted numerous events over the years, I know first hand the effort and support needed to host a first class event,” said Steve. “The Event Manager role is going to allow me to help work with host committees and supporting them to continue CURLSASK’s tradition of first class events.”

Steve is married to Michelle and has two children, Ashley and Zach and daughter in law Maddy. Steve and Michelle are excited to become first time grandparents in spring 2022. Over the years Steve has coached curling, hockey, box lacrosse and soccer mostly to help out with his kids activities. Furthermore, Steve ran the junior and adult learn to curl programs at one of the rinks he managed, in addition to being a Curling Club Ice Tech.
