Team Ackerman Looking for Another Medal Finish
Team Skylar Ackerman out of the Moose Jaw Ford Curling Centre will look for a similar finish from one year ago, but adding just one more win under their belts!
They represented Team Saskatchewan at the 2018 U18 Canadian Championships in Saint Andrews, NB where they made a fantastic run claiming the silver medals losing to Team Nova Scotia in the championship final.
The girls have had a remarkable past few seasons accomplishing many feats with the same foursome, where they were also the finalists at the 2019 Junior Women’s Provincial representing as Team Host one month ago at the 2019 New Holland Canadian Junior Championships.

Gervais Heading In With New Team
Team Brecklin Gervais out of the Kronau Curling Club formed himself a new team heading into the 18/19 curling season, aside from last years team who made a run at the Junior Provincial title here in Saskatchewan.
He welcomed third James Hom (Regina), Josh Donais (Zehner) & Andrew Myers (Balgonie) along with Olympic Curling Champion Marcia Gudereit at coach. It sure paid off this year as they defeated the 2018 Saskatchewan Winter Games Champions Daymond Bernath of Saskatoon in the Canada Games Winter Trials at the Twin Rivers Curling Club back in December.
Team Gervais also competed in the U18 regional playdowns a few weeks ago, where they qualified into the 2019 U18 Provincial Championship Mar. 14-17 at the Regina Callie.
