Curling Canada Hit, Draw & Tap Championship Presented by CURLSASK Hit the Ice in Whitewood

2nd Annual HDT Provincial Shootout – Whitewood, SK

The 2nd Annual Curling Canada Hit, Draw & Tap Provincial Shooutout presented by CURLSASK took place Sunday afternoon in between the semi-final & final games at the SaskTel Tankard Men’s Provincial Curling Championship, which was held Whitewood, Saskatchewan!

All youth (272) participants competed first at their club level, where they then submitted their scores into the CURLSASK office and into our provincial leaderboard. They then found themselves in the top five from around the province, earning them a spot into the provincial shootout.

*All tiebreakers were decided by a draw to the button contest, with some amazing draws that concluded the shootout portion of the event!!

Activites Taken in During the Remainder of the Event:

  1. Tour from head ice maker Jayson Braaten on how arena ice is made.
  2. Pizza Party in Upstairs Lounge.
  3. CURLSASK Hoodies & Scarfs given to each participant
  4. Arena Access for the semi-final & final games during Sunday afternoon.
