About Dan

Dan was born and raised here in Regina and grew up around the sport of curling. He spent most of his young days around the Regina Tartan as his grandfather managed the club for over 30 years.

When Dan wasn’t spending time during the evenings or weekends perfecting his curling game, he always found time to volunteer his time at the local church, and continues to today!

Oh, and unless you did not already know, Dan is a die hard Saskatchewan Roughriders fan. If you don’t see him catching the game at Mosaic Stadium, you can count on him taking it in with many family and friends!

“My name is Dan Selke, the new Membership Coordinator here at CURLSASK! I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work alongisde the office staff here and to build on the relationships we currently have with all of the Curling community in this province! I look forward to utilizing my skill-sets and passions to help strengthen and grow the great game of Curling in Saskatchewan!”

If this does not ring a bell, Dan has assisted with CURLSASK programming in the past! He has dedicated his time the last four summers at the Prairieland Curling Camp up in Nipawin, as well as assisting with a variety of youth clinics across the province!

FUN FACT OF DAN: Dan enjoys his time at Costco, but its not for shopping. It’s to dig in on his favorite food deal in the Queen City, the Costco Hot Dog & Drink combo!

From everyone here at CURLSASK, we want to welcome Dan to our team and look forward to working with him to develop the sport of curling here in Saskatchewan!
