Twin Rivers to Host First World Curling Mixed Doubles Event in Saskatchewan!

As the first ever Saskatchewan Mixed Doubles Curling Tour will hit the Saskatchewan curling scene this upcoming curling season, they are welcoming some of the worlds best mixed doubles duos to North Battleford to kick things off to a rocking start!

Beginning Friday afternoon, the Twin Rivers Curling Club will host the Battleford Mixed Doubles Fall Curling Classic, a World Curling Tour Event that will bring in both local and national talent.

This will be the first large scaled event for the season at the Twin Rivers Curling Club, since they were named the official CURLSASK High Performance Centre back in May! They will also be hosting additional events along the lines of a Junior Slam Series, “Swing & Slide” Golf Tournament, & Academy of Curling Learn to Curl sessions! 2018 World Bronze Medalist Kirk Muyres of Saskatoon will join teammate Laura Walker to compete in North Battleford (Photo, Curling Canada).

Sherry Just, President of the Saskatchewan Mixed Doubles Curling Tour (SMDCT) will be in action with teammate Ryan Deis of Fox Valley (Photo, Curling Canada).
