Blog #3 Team Saskatchewan Girls
This blog has been highjacked by the parents!
We are all beeming with pride while we watch our girls follow their dreams on the curling ice. We think they look amazing in green!
Yesterday was an action packed day. The girls had their first 2 game day. While the morning game against Team Ontario resulted in a loss, it was a fun game to watch. Team PE was up next and it was a close game right to the end. It was tied coming home, we had hammer and skipper made a fantastic hit to count 4 and get the win.

Immediately after the game, the parents of Team SK, AB, and BC hosted the Wednesday parent night. There trivia games, prizes, and food that represented each our of our provinces.
A great time was had by all.
As parents were are so excited for our girls. Thank you to everyone who has provided financial and emotional support to them this week and throughout the entire season, it really does mean alot to us.

U18 Boys ~ Team Bindig

With only one game Wednesday, we got to sleep in and then walk over to the rink to cheer on the Saskatchewan girls. We played Manitoba in the afternoon.

Our parents (mostly the moms!) were busy preparing for parent night, where they promoted Saskatchewan with a game to identify crops grown and showcased Saskatchewan grown food. In typical Saskatchewan fashion our parents hosted a fantastic party and for once we beat them to bed!

Thursday morning we toured the Huntsman Aquarium, learned about the tides in the Bay of Fundy and got to hold sea stars, urchins, hermit crabs!

We have 2 games today, just finished playing Northwest Territories, picking up our first win!
We play our last round robin game at 6pm against Ontario.

Tonight we are all going out for a New Brunswick lobster feast!
