Curlers From Across Saskatchewan Compete in 1st Annual Hit, Draw & Tap Championship at SaskTel Tankard
1st Annual HDT Provincial Shootout ~ Estevan, SK
The 1st Annual CURLSASK Hit, Draw & Tap Provincial Shooutout took place Sunday afternoon in between the semi-final & final games at the SaskTel Tankard Men’s Provincial Curling Championship, which was held at Affinity Place in Estevan, Saskatchewan!
All participants (212 youth) competed first at their club level, where they then submitted their scores into the CURLSASK office and into our provincial leaderboard. They then found themselves in the top five from around the province, earning them a spot into the provincial shootout.

*All tiebreakers were decided by a draw to the button contest, with some amazing draws that concluded the shootout portion of the event!!
Activites Taken in During the Remainder of the Event:
- Tour of behind the scenes ice making from our amazing ice makers Darren Gress & Jayson Braaten (below).
- Pizza Party in Upstairs Lounge overlooking the ice surface
- Prizes & ASHAM Water Bottles for each participant
- Arena Access for the semi-final & final games during Sunday afternoon.
