Flasch Clinches Spot in 1vs2 Page Playoff Game

It was Team Colton Flasch out of the Saskatoon Nutana who battled it out with Team Brady Kendel of the Saskatoon Sutherland in our A Event Final game earlier this afternoon. This one was a fairly defensive battle with the only multi point scores coming in the 8th (for Flasch) and the 9th (for Kendel). This one came down to a last rock thriller that left the crowd sitting on the edge of their seats.Colton was forced to draw full four foot to break the deadlock for his single and the victory. With the win, Team Flasch nabs the win and a spot in the 1vs2 Page Playoff Game Saturday evening. Team Kendel fell to a B-Semi vs. team Virtue

Laycock vs. Virtue in B-Event Final

Great action in the B-Event semi finals tonight as we had Laycock vs Bitz & Kendel vs Virtue. It was an early finish in the first B-Semi which saw Laycock advance to the B-Final with a convincing 10-2 victory. In the other B-semi, Kendel and Virtue put a on a great show for the large crowd. The eventual winner was Team Brock Virtue . We’ll see the B-Final featuring Laycock and Virtue Saturday at 9:00am.

In the C-event team Casey bounced back with a win over Jeff Hartung’s rink to keep their Tankard dreams alive. It was a crowd pleasing affair in the other C-Event game, with team Gedak’s local rink coming out firing to pick up the win against the Jason Jacobson rink.
