CURLSASK Crokicurl Coming to Regina's Victoria Park!!
What a great time to be a curling fan in the province of Saskatchewan! Back in September, Regina along with the Cooperators Centre at Evraz Place hosted some of the best curlers in the world at the Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling Tour Challenge!
Coming up in 2018, Regina and the world will host two of the most prestigious events this sport has to offer. First up, the world’s top curlers will head to Pyeongchang, South Korea to compete in the 2018 Winter Olympics (Feb. 9-25). Men’s & Women’s team play along with Mixed Doubles will have Canadian representation with their eyes set on gold! Just a few short days later, the Tim Hortons Brier will make its way into the Queen City at the Brandt Centre (Mar. 3-10), hosting the top men’s curlers in Canada.
CURLSASK, The City of Regina & The Regina Downtown Business Improvement District are proud to announce that we will be hosting the newly evolved Crokicurl game in Victoria Park within the week of February 12-16, to assist in the promotion of the 2018 Winter Olympics, the upcoming Tim Hortons Brier & to celebrate Saskatchewan’s official sport!
Come on out to Victoria Park during specific event times throughout the week (details found on official poster below) and enjoy hot chocolate, take in the game & enter your name for a chance to win Day Passes to the upcoming Tim Hortons Brier in Regina! Special guests attending throughout the week are Canadian Champion Pat Simmons, Saskatchewan Roughriders, City of Regina Representatives, & more!!
