SaskTel Men’s Provincial Northern Qualifier ~ Saskatoon Nutana

Nineteen teams will hit the ice at the Saskatoon Nutana beginning Friday at 12:00 p.m. where there will be four spots open for teams to receive a berth into the 2018 SaskTel Tankard Men’s Provincial Championship! SaskTel Men’s Provincial Southern Qualifier ~ Moose Jaw Ford Curling Centre

Nine teams will travel to Moose Jaw Friday, with the first draw taking place at 9:00 a.m. where there will be two spots open for teams to receive a berth into the 2018 SaskTel Tankard Men’s Provincial Championship! The SaskTel Tankard Men’s Provincial Championship will take place January 31 – February 4, 2018 at Affinity Place in Estevan!

Affinity Senior Women’s Q-Spiel #2 ~ Moose Jaw

Seven Senior Women’s teams will make the Moose Jaw Ford Curling Centre one busy place this weekend, as they will also hit the ice with three spots available into the 2018 Affinity Credit Union Senior Joint Provincial Championships, which will be held in Tisdale Feb.20-25, 2018!

Teams Sherry Anderson (Saskatoon), Tracy Streifel (Sasktoon) & Peggy Fernquist (Saskatoon) have already qualified for the provincial championship, through Q-Spiel #1 back in early December!

Team SK in Seeding Pool at 2018 New Holland Canadian Juniors

Both Saskatchewan Junior Men’s & Women’s teams moved on to the seeding pool at the 2018 New Holland Canadian Junior Curling Championships, which are being held in Shawinigan, Quebec!

The Junior Women’s team, skipped by Sara England of Regina, have won two in a row with victories over Nunavut (14-3) & Northwest Territories (9-2) improving their record to 3-5. They will play their remaining game this afternoon against Team British Columbia at 5:30 p.m. SK time!

The Junior Men’s team, skipped by Rylan Kleiter of Saskatoon, have also won two in a row with wins against Nova Scotia (8-6) & Nunavut (13-1) moving to 2-5. They will play their next two games this afternoon at 1:00 p.m. & 5:30 p.m. SK time!!
