Team SK Blog #3 – Travelers Curling Club Championship

We started the day off with precomp practice today and thankful for the advise of Brian Champion it went very smooth and we felt organized. First game was at three and we came out strong against Nunavut getting a W in the win column. We then got to have a great visit and learn about the culture and geography of Nunavut. Next we had opening ceremonies which was fantastic to walk out wearing the sought after green jacket and being piped in. We stayed at the rink to have a bite to eat and cheer on the men’s team who played great and also captured a win. It’s been great having our family with us and to see so much green in the stands. We have had some great chats with other teams and trying to enjoy every moment offered . excited fortomorrowwe have a two game day against BC and NWT
