Team Saskatchewan Begins Canadian Mixed Championship Tomorrow
Team Saskatchewan will begin its journey at the Canadian Mixed Curling Championship tomorrow as the event gets underway in Swan River, Manitoba! The foursome of Colton Flasch, Brett Barber, Jayden Shwaga and Robyn Despins won the provincial mixed championship last March in Meadow Lake. Unfortunately, Colton is unable to make the trip with the team, so in comes super alternate Bruce Korte of Saskatoon. Who is no stranger to the mixed curling scene, as he skipped his own team to a silver medal finish in the 2016 Canadian Mixed Championship. Draw 1 is set to begin Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m. with Saskatchewan taking on our next door neighbours to the west in Alberta. Make sure to keep your eyes out for the Team SK’s Daily Blogs, which will be posted on the CURLSASK website and social media platforms. For all scores/results, please click here.
