Travelers Provincial Club Championship Begins Tomorrow in Estevan!
The Power Dodge Curling Centre down in Estevan, SK will play host to the top men’s & women’s club players this weekend in the 2017 Provincial Club Championship. This will be the ninth season the club provincial championship will take place, with the champion earning the right to represent Saskatchewan at the 2017 Traveler’s National Club Championship (Nov.20-26) with the location to be determined. Traveler’s Men’s Championship The top 12 teams from around the province will begin pool play this Friday at 3:30 p.m. at the Power Dodge Curling Centre. Last years (and two time) champion in Kory Kohuch of Saskatoon will not be competing this weekend, which will see Saskatchewan crown a new champion at this years championship. Good Luck to all teams! Traveler’s Women’s Championship The top 12 teams on the women’s side will also be competing through pool play before playoffs begin on Saturday down at the Power Dodge Curling Centre in Estevan. This year there will also be a new champion declared on Sunday afternoon, as defending and two time champion Danette Tracey of Weyburn will not be competing in this years event. First draw will begin later that night on Friday with an 8:00 p.m. slated start time. Good Luck to all teams!
