What an exciting week of round robin play for all the teams out at the Travelers Club Championship. Nothing better than back and forth match ups, games down to the wire, and a few tie breakers to get the playoffs rolling.
Team Saskatchewan – Men
You could not have asked for a more perfect week for the Men as they finished pool play with a 6-0 record, having another two-win day yesterday with victories over Northern Ontario 9-4, and Alberta 6-4. With top spot in Pool A, this gives them a bye right into the semi finals tonight at 9 p.m. Sask Time. Tiebreakers along with Quarterfinal games take place all day Friday. Team Saskatchewan – Women
The Women are on a roll as well and making a push for the playoffs this week as well. Pool B had a four way tie for first place with everyone having a 4-2 record, including Saskatchewan. This landed them in a tiebreaker game at 12 p.m. Sask time today against the team from Quebec, with the winner advancing to the quarterfinal to face off against Nova Scotia.
