The Randy Bryden Team from the Callie Curling Club in Regina will be inducted into the Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame dinner on Friday, June 13th. The team consisting of skip Randy, third Cathy Inglis (Trowell), second Russ Bryden and lead Karen Inglis are being recognized for their Canadian title they earned for Saskatchewan at the 1996 Canadian Mixed Curling Championships.
The national final was played against the Rich Moffat team from Ontario. Many superb shots were made for the title win. The game was broadcast on TSN and may be watched by going to the Canadian Curling Association’s Curling TV website.
The Callie Club, CurlRegina and CURLSASK will be in attendance at the dinner to cheer on the team and demonstrate how proud we all are in the curling community of Saskatchewan’s curling conquests.
